Homes and/or businesses all across Connecticut will be featured in the October 4. National Solar Tour being managed locally by Solar Connecticut, Inc., a nonprofit supporting solar power installations in Connecticut. In one year, the tour of solar powered Connecticut homes and businesses has doubled in size to 53 sites this year.

Visitors are welcome between the hours of 10am and 4pm. The property owner will be on hand to talk about the project cost, expected payback, materials used, environmental offsets, state and federal incentives offered, and other issues important to solar users. An installer representative is expected on site. |
